Senna

This past Sunday marked the sixteenth anniversary of the death of Ayrton Senna. The 1994 San Marino Grand Prix weekend saw some horrific crashes including the death of fellow F1 driver Roland Ratzenberger while qualifying. Senna's crash was no less horrific and was played out in front of a world wide audience. I saw the race live on TV and the moment the crash occurred, I knew this was no run of the mill F1 accident, this was far more savage.
